Please return your room key card to reception on departure. If you would like to extend your stay, let reception know so we can extend the validity of your key card.
Smoking is prohibited in hotel rooms and indoor areas. Smoking incurs a €50 fine on the bill. Burning candles in hotel rooms is not allowed; a €15 fine applies in case of violation.
Payment can be made in cash euros and with Visa, Maestro and MasterCard cards.
Breakfast
Buffet breakfast is served at Restaurant Pähkel on the first floor Mon–Fri 07:30–10:00 and Sat–Sun 07:30–11:00.
Breakfast is included in hotel room rates. It is not included in the rate of the guest apartments with a kitchenette.

Spa & saunas
The water and sauna centre is free for hotel guests. Water centre daily 08:00–22:00.
Finnish saunas Mon–Fri 09:00–11:00 and 16:00–22:00; Sat–Sun 09:00–22:00. Steam, infrared and aroma saunas Mon–Fri 16:00–22:00; Sat–Sun 09:00–22:00.
Children under 14 may enter the water centre only with an adult.

The spa has indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, Finnish, aroma, infrared and steam saunas, and massage jets. The separate children's pool is 60 cm deep.
Order drinks and light snacks from the spa bar screen during restaurant hours. At other times, refreshing drinks are available at reception. Slippers are available at reception for €5.

Summer courtyard terrace daily 14:00–22:00.
Lounge 13 offers music, food and drinks and extends into the courtyard in summer. Coffee, water, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available from reception 24 hours a day.
Room service
Breakfast can be ordered to your room between 08:00 and 10:00.
Please let us know the evening before, by 21:00 at the latest. The service fee is €7.

Breakfast is not included in the guest apartment rate, so the breakfast price is added when ordering to your room.
During Restaurant Pähkel and Lounge 13 opening hours, you can order food and drinks to your room by dialling 000. The service fee is €7; delivery is free for orders of €50 or more.

Apartments are not cleaned during your stay. On request, cleaning and a linen change can be ordered from reception for €15.

The private sauna is on the third floor and includes a hot tub on the roof terrace overlooking Kuressaare's old town.
Snacks and drinks can be ordered to the sauna by dialling 000 on the sauna phone. Food and drinks brought from outside may not be consumed in the private sauna.
Treatments
The Wellness Centre is located on floor 1B.
Book from your room phone on 000 or online. Please cancel at least 2 hours in advance. Late cancellations are charged 75% of the treatment price. Arriving late shortens the treatment by the time lost.

Laundry is a paid service. Laundry handed to reception before 10:00 is returned by 18:00 the same day. Ask reception for the current price list.

Fire safety
If you notice fire or smoke, call reception immediately: 000 from the room phone or +372 45 40000 from your mobile.
If the fire alarm sounds or an evacuation is announced, take your essential documents, leave the room as instructed, close the door behind you and head to the nearest exit.
If leaving the room is not possible, close the door, call reception immediately and give your room number and the number of people in the room.

When leaving, check that the room door is locked. Do not hand your key card or card holder to others.
Please report a lost key card to reception immediately.
When leaving the room, remove the key card from its slot so the electrical appliances switch off.
Using your own electric stoves, coffee machines or other high-power appliances is not allowed in the hotel.

The guest is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their visitors in the apartment or shared areas. Johan Spa Hotel has the right to claim compensation for material damage and the costs of repairing it.
Peace and safety
- Please do not make excessive noise or disturb other guests.
- Quiet hours are 23:00–07:00. Breaking quiet hours incurs a 50 € contractual penalty per call-out.
- Young children and pets must not be left unattended in the apartment or shared areas. The accompanying adult is responsible for their safety.
- Johan Spa Hotel is not liable for the loss of or damage to personal belongings left unattended.
- Video and audio surveillance is used in shared areas for safety.
Smoking and fire safety
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. A 50 € contractual penalty applies for violations.
- Burning candles in the apartment is not allowed. Violations add 15 € to the bill.
Cleaning and rubbish
Guest apartments are not cleaned daily during your stay.
Please take rubbish to the designated shared bin in the courtyard, by guest apartment no. 8.
Cleaning and a linen change can be ordered from reception for an extra 15 €.
Pets
Pets are welcome for an extra 15 € / night. Please let the hotel know about your pet before arrival.
Keys
Physical or electronic keys issued by Johan Spa Hotel may not be passed on to third parties.
Please return your key card to reception when leaving.
